Has
more than twenty five years experience, consulting and teaching in
Quality, Reliability, Safety, and Logistics Engineering. Zigmund has
two master degrees: in electronic engineering and in mathematics,
and a Ph.D. in Operational research. Prior to founding the A.L.D.
Inc. in 1984, Zigmund Bluvband served as the Quality Assurance
Director at Tadiran, and the Reliability Manager at the Israel
Aircraft Industries. His multi-talented personality and world-class
professionalism are reflected in the wide scope of the A.L.D.
activities and in the high motivation of the A.L.D. employees.
Zigmund
has been the mastermind behind the A.L.D. Reliability software and
services as well as conducting CRE, CQE, CQA, CQM, CSQE and Lead
Assessors courses, tutorials on RAMS, ILS, LCC, QA for thousands of
hardware and software professionals in USA, Europe, Israel and Far
East countries.
He is
very active at the Israel Society for Quality and served as its'
President & Chairman for two cadencies in 1989-1994. He has been the
Israel Society for Quality International Committee Chairman since
then.
Zigmund
is the author of more than 50 papers and 2 books.
He
never stops surprising us with the overwhelming flow of ideas and
his effortless sense of humor turning the dullest meeting in an
enjoyable gathering.
