Corrigendum
Regarding the Authorship of the Article: "A NATURE-INSPIRED, DROPLET-SHAPED FLOATING PLATFORM FOR OFFSHORE WIND TURBINES" Published in: Reliability: Theory & Applications, Vol. 20, Special Issue 9 (87), pp. 933-943, (2025). DOI: https://doi.org/10.24412/1932-2321-2025-987-933-943
This corrigendum is issued to formally correct the author list of the above-mentioned article, which was originally presented at the 7th Eurasian Conference "Risk-oriented Design and Operation of Infrastructure Systems: Sustainability Paradigm" (RİSK-2025) and subsequently submitted to this journal. Upon an official request from the corresponding author, PhD-Student Mahmud Ismayilov, and based on the conclusive findings and official decision of the Organizing Committee of the RISK-2025 conference (Official Letter #102/25k dated 12/12/2025), the following has been established:
1. The work was originally submitted, peer-reviewed, and accepted at the RISK-2025 conference as a single-authored work by Mahmud Ismayilov. 2. Mr. Javid Namazov was not an author, co-author, or participant in the conference in any capacity, and his name does not appear in any official conference records (Abstract Book, Final Programme, or participant database). 3. The inclusion of Mr. Namazov's name in the author list during the submission to this journal resulted from a technical error in the metadata transfer from the conference organizers, for which they have assumed responsibility.
Therefore, the Editorial Board of Reliability: Theory & Applications, in accordance with the principles of publication ethics (COPE) and based on the official documentation provided, hereby corrects the authorship of the article as follows:
All credit, responsibility, and correspondence for this work pertain solely to Mr. Mahmud Ismayilov.
The online version of the article and its associated metadata have been updated to reflect this correction. The Editorial Board sincerely regrets any confusion or inconvenience this error may have caused to the authors, readers, and the academic community.
For the Editorial Board,
Vladimir Rykov
